PNG 'Paya' Tortoise Ring with Gold Spheres

These fabulous rings are made of turtle shell originating in the coastal waters of Papua New Guinea. The Island cultures have been utilizing this beautiful shell for millennia. Often found in ritual and ceremonial as well as purely functional objects, this extraordinary material maintains its unique qualities in this fabulous ring.
