Tibetan Coral & South Sea Pearl Necklace

These very fine grade Australian South Sea pearls are incredibly luminescent and absolutely magical paired with the old Tibetan coral. The Tibetans have traded this fabulous and precious material for centuries, brought to them by the myriad of travellers who wound their way along the Marco Polo route. They considered coral to be more precious than gold and together with turquoise is found in the most significant of Tibetan ritual and ceremonial items. This elegant necklace sits high on the neck, just above the collar bone, overall length is 42cm.  A truly magnificent neckpiece!
