PNG Spondylus Shell & Tourmaline Opera Neckpiece

These fabulous and very old spondylus shell items are objects of desire for tribal Papua New Guineans, prized for currency and used for ceremony and ritual events. The lovely and worn shell fragments and rings are the centrepiece of this opera length necklace. Combined with lustrous Japanese akoya pearls and tumbled tourmaline to create an exotic and unique neckpiece. Lisa Black signature star and ring and all in 22kt gold.
