These extraordinary seeds are collected in the desert areas of Australia and used extensively by the indigenous inhabitants. Seed and country are a significant part of Aboriginal culture and are identifiers of place or people. The holes of the extremely hard seed are burned with searing rods and often the woodside aroma stays with the necklace.
